No access to web app

Server Version#: 1.19.1.2589-2de7f3266 (TS-453A)
Player Version#:

Was asked to create a separate thread so here goes.

Re-posting my issue here:

Unfortunately I must re-open my case, and ask for help.
Everything worked until qnap released the latest firmware and since then I started having problems again.

Basically, direct palying via PKC on kodi works without any issues. But I cannot access the server via the web. Locally or remotely, neither works.

I have been hoping a new update might fix my issue since that was what solvLogs.zip (6.6 MB) ed it the last time, but nothing so far, and I am on the latest plex pass build (30/3).

Another thing to note is that each time I open upp the web app my QNAP CPU spikes, until I close the tab again, then it goes down to normal.

Thankfully I can play content, but there are a lot of functions that I can’t use due to the fact that I cannot access the web interface.

I am attaching my logs, hopefully someone can help share some light on this.

Something strange with your logs, since last one is from 2020, but has no entries about IP etc.
All other logs are from 2016 ?

So please, in the AppCenter, disable PMS, wait 2 min, then re-enable.
Wait 2 min, then gather a new zip of logs please

Here you goplex_logs_2020-04-02_12-58-43.zip (5.8 MB)

Unsure where you browsed towards, but I assume your workstation is on IP Net 192.168.1.x ?

If so, what happens if you switch your browser into Incognito mode, and browse to http://192.168.1.100:32400/web

This (also, during the time that I have the website open CPU spikes, until I close it):

Anything?

Sorry, got site-tracked here :frowning:

First of all, what’s the IP Address of your Workstation?

Secondly, your browser seems to show some kinda plugin, that maybe is blocking entry?
So to rule that out, can you try another browser?

Hey,

The IP of my workstation is 192.168.1.10 and plex has a local IP of 192.168.1.100

And nope, doesn’t matter if I use a clean install of Firefox or Edge which I never ever used, except to try this out, so its not an addon issue.

Anybody there?..

Darn, twice…

Please browse to:
http://192.68.1.100/identity

Does the xml has an element saying claimed=1

I added 32400 in the URL, but yes it does.

Try this:

Not really giving me those error messages that are mentioned in the article, but nonetheless I tried, but made no difference.

Could you show a screendump of the network settings in QTS?

Not sure if I missed something but here you go

After you followed No access to web app and removed some settings from the preferences.xml, could you then try this one, and when asked for an IP, enter 127.0.0.1

Hey, sure, but I will need a bit more information.
This seems to be a script? How should I run it?

I get the following error:

IP Address of PMS server: 127.0.0.1
Comparing entered passwords
Comparing entered passwords ok

Getting PMS Server Identifier
Getting PMS Server Identifier ok
Getting User Token from plex.tv
Getting User Token from plex.tv ok
Getting PMS Claim Token

Are you 100% sure you edited the preferences.xml file, and restarted PMS afterwards?
