Plex Web stops buffering after 2 mins causing playback to stop

I’m very sorry my humor wasn’t received as intended.
I thought the " " was sufficient.

I am pleased that we seem to finally have a fix, and I can upgrade my PMS again. But I’m not willing to let Plex off the hook so easily, and I’m certainly not prepared to say thanks. What are we thanking them for? Doing their job? And doing it poorly?

If we’re going to learn anything from this experience and make improvements, we need to start by acknowledging that this is neither a technical lesson nor a social lesson - it is simply a business lesson for the Plex company to learn. This is not how you treat your customers. Some of us are paying customers, I’d like to remind them. We have paid for your service, and in this instance, your service utterly failed. But it’s way worse than that. I can accept a bug in software. It happens all the time. But in this day and age we live in, taking 7 months to fix a bug is unacceptable. Why should we have to put up with that?

Big thanks to @ChuckPa, because without his periodic (albeit sporadic) posts in this thread, there would have been no official response from the company at all. Is that how this process is intended to work? Other software companies have official online tools for reporting bugs, and tracking their progress. Does Plex have something like this? If so, why do we continue to just make posts in the forum and then hope and pray that someone will notice them and respond? This is not how modern software is written. So the either the process needs work, or the education of the customer base needs work. Either way, I lay the blame directly at the feet of Plex and their employees.

If you want to grow your company and delight your customers, you’ve got a looooong way to go, Plex. Get it together, please. I for one am tired of dealing with amateur hour. You want to be a real software company, be a real software company and stop playing games with your customers.
