Plex, Why so Difficult?

Hi All,

Can some one please help? Is it me or is Plex really difficult to use?

When I view Teen Mom series 7, It shows 5 videos behind one title. See file names below.
Plex only plays one video instead of five. Episodes 01 to 32 work correctly.

The files are named correctly.

teen.mom.s07e00.ask.the.moms.real.720p.web.x264-tbs.mkv
teen.mom.s07e00.backstage.pass.720p.web.x264-tbs.mkv
teen.mom.s07e00.maci.and.taylor.a.love.story.720p.web.x264-tbs.mkv
teen.mom.s07e00.mugshot.mayhem.720p.web.x264-tbs.mkv
teen.mom.s07e00.unseen.moments.720p.web.x264-tbs.mkv

You have 5 files there, all marked as episode number 00 of season 07.
Of course Plex will accumulate them under the same entry. Because they are all named as the same episode.

But how do I watch them ?

I have watched the first episode but then plex plays S07E01 after S07E00.

The first files plays but the other four do not play. I am unable to select the other four videos.
I am unable to split the group. Plex really needs a file viewer with ability to rename files.

Trumpy81, Thanks for the link to TVDB. Ill try renaming.

That would only happen, if the subsequent files for eps. 0 are named as “multi-file episodes”:
