Plex will not build new connections with a new library

Server Version#: 1.32.8.7639 (TerraMaster and Western Digital)
Player Version#: Version 4.122.0 (Plex Web)

Over the past week I decided to split my movie libraries that I have on a total of four servers - different libraries for feature films, B pictures/Made-for-TV movies, and short subjects. I expected Plex to build collections, taking data from The Movie Database, during a library scan or definitely after a full metadata refresh. That is not happening. Is collection building now disabled, except for Smart Collections (built from filter saves)? I know I can build a fixed collection by creating a tag and applying that tag in the Collections field. But that requires me to search every movie in the collection - by hand - and then apply the collection tag - by hand. Can I avoid it? What setting or step am I missing?

If your library is set to use the Plex Movie agent, you should have an option in the library’s Advanced tab to set the Minimum automatic collection size – if it’s set to anything except Disabled, Plex should look for and create collections based on TMDb data when adding new media to the library.

Very good - thank you. I set all Minimum size for automatic collections settings to 1 - and then ran the command Refresh All Metadata. That’s the key. A mere library-file scan won’t do; it has to retrieve all metadata. But now I know I have collections functionality back the way I had it.
