Hi I have the latest version of PMS and I can’t seem to get automatic collections working. I have that option to use “the movie database” under Plex Movie added under agents, changed the order and refreshed the metadata for the whole library and nothing gets changed. Everything is unlocked too so I’m not sure why nothing is happening.
I’m not exactly sure what configuration you’re referring here.
Can you verify the options on the Advanced tab of the actual library in question? I’m specifically interested in the Agent option.
- If your library is configured to use the
Plex Movieagent… what value have you set forMinimum automatic collection size? - If your library is actually using a legacy agent… have you checked the option
Use collection info from The Movie Database
Try moving a few titles to a different directory, scan the library, put the files back and scan the library again.
That shouldn’t be necessary if the library is properly configured.
i have it set to plex movie and the minimum automatic collection size to 2. rescanning doesn’t change the tags. not sure what to do after that.
The movies in question have a collection assigned to them on TMDb and your files are properly matched (e.g. you’re not just using embedded metadata for your library)?
