No metadata download - FreeNas 11.2 Iocage Jail

I am in the process of migrating my Plex installation from Windows to a Iocage Jail running on FreeNAS 11.2. The PMS is successfully installed and I can log into the Plex web gui. I have successfully added the mapping and Plex can see the files within the media folder and can add them to the library. It sees the codecs and file information. However, even though it says it is downloading metadata, it is never updated. The jail has internet access. Attached at the logs. I am stumped. Ok, I found an obsecure thread that pointed me in the right direction and want to update this with that information. For an iocage jail on FreeBSD/FreeNAS (not warden, in warden it works fine) you must enable vnet and allow_sockets for the jail for metadata download and network play transcoding to work. Make sure to set the vnet default route once you enable it. This is current as of PMS 1.13.5.5291and FreeNAS 11.2 iocage.

anyone have clear steps to get plex media working in 11.2

Also check to make sure that you have R/W access to the plex direcotries for user plex group plex.

ls -hal is the clearest way to go with that.

Are you having any troubles with transcoding?

Hey Guys, I posted the solution I found to my issues. Is there anything in particular you need to know? My setup is working on 11.2-U2 with Iocage (albeit the library scan is now painfully slow compared to running it under warden). If you have something specific, I can look at my settings and try to help diagnose.
