why has plex windows app gone. i have had to start using emby for windows users
Huh? It’s still there. Just not in the store anymore.
i ment the plex player app not the server
The Plex for Windows is on the download page given above. It’s the same page as the Server, but if you click on App & Devices you’ll get the Plex Player
The Plex for Windows UMP app is no longer available through the Windows Store. This app hadn’t been updated in years. There is a new Plex for Windows client available from our downloads page, as mentioned above.
