Plex Windows desktop client does not use GPU transcoding on laptops

I have a laptop with an Intel I9-14900 CPU and an Nvidia 4060 Laptop GPU. When I run the Plex Windows desktop client software, I find that the GPU used by Plex is Intel instead of Nvidia. I have tried to force Plex to use Nvidia GPU in the Windows display settings and the Nvidia control panel, but it didn’t work.

I’m having exactly the same issue with a new I7 Lappy with an Nvidia rtx3050. Does anyone have any idea’s on how to resolve? TIA

Did either of you change Plex Media Server’s Transcoder Settings – not Windows or Nvidia control panel?
