Plex without config menu

Hi,

I run Plex on my NAS and on multiple devices around here - and very happy with it.

Now I run one client, Pi with RasPlex, at my parents. Therefore I was looking for a way to hide the configuration menu. It happened more than once that they hit one "left" to much and got confused.

Is there a way to make Plex as a kind of POI device where there is no way to switch it off or alter the config? Maybe a password/pin that locks the configuration?

Thanks in advance.

you can edit the skin so that non administrative users cant see some menu options

As the menu is in the Pi, I would have to ssh into it and edit files (and so with every update).
Unfortunately I am not on that level as I am more a standard user. So I guess I have to live with it.
Thanks for your idea.

Not really, because you save it as a custom skin, so it works as a plugin and is preserved between updates
