Plex won't activate on iPad

Activated Plex iOS app on phone through family sharing purchase, will not activate on iPad. I get the Uh-Oh! something went wrong! error. I use the same plex account and apple id credentials on both devices. I have deleted and reinstalled plex app. I have logged out and back in to itunes store. I have logged in and out of the ipad. iPad does not give me the option to activate, it asks me to purchase for $4.99 and even that does not work. It tells me my family group has purchased and it’s free, then I get the Uh Oh! error. Any other ideas are appreciated. Thank you!

There should be a restore purchase button on the activation page

It wasn’t evident that I could scroll below the $4.99 purchase option on the pop up, but that’s where I found the restore purchase button. On the iPhone the restore purchase button was visible without scrolling. Thank your help!
