Plex Won't Display Photos (LG WebOS TV)

My research shows this issue was supposedly fixed a while back, but I get an error on my LG G3 TV that “An error occurred displaying the current photo. This may be due to an insecure connection to the server.”

This issue is only occurring on my LG Smart TV. My Samsung TV and other devices display photos fine. I primarily want this functionality for the screensaver feature. All other features (movies, TV shows, live TV, etc.) appear to be working fine.

Server Version#: 4.136.1
Player Version#: 5.88.1

as far as i can tell, plex server and the TV’s OS are up-to-date

Attached screen captures of Photos library along with log. As you can see, thumbnails are there, but when you click an image, you get “An error occurred displaying the current photo. This may be due to an insecure connection to the server.” I only get this error on Plex client in WebOS. All other media (i.e. movies) work fine.
