Please set ‘Direct Stream’ to ‘disabled’ in the preferences of your clients. Do these files now play?
setting…web…player then uncheck direct stream
I have unchecked this box and only mp4 files are able to be played
Is the same AVI still affected, of which you posted the mediainfo before?
Which browser are you using?
sorry you were talking about the Roku device settings…I have set it to disable and it still wont play

I meant actually both Roku and Plex Web 
I have disabled it on both plex web and roku3 still wont play…ive tried several avi and mkv and they wont play…which is really odd cause they all played fine before I updated
yes the same avi and others as well and microsoft edge
Have you tried other browsers as well?
if I watch it on the web page it says the the server is not powerful enough to convert this video for smooth playback
