Plex won't play various files after update

Player Version#: 4.51.3
Linux Server: Ubuntu 16.04+ 64-bit

After updating to the new version of Plex, intermittent files won’t play on Plex. Some of these files I’ve played before without issue, others are unplayed, and still others will play just fine. I verified that the permissions are set correctly, and noted that it happens to all file types. The specific error posted is:

There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.

I’ve tried rebooting the server as well as stopping and restarting Plex. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

OK, solved my own problem. Turns out I needed to refresh my browser. Now everything is working fine.

I’ll leave this up to save others my embarrassment for such a simple problem.
