This is completely doing in my head and I don’t know what to do. Please I need help!
I’m having an major issue. Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden my Sony tv and iPhone app and event web all have an issue where they won’t remember where I’m up to when playing if I stop the video it acts like I wasn’t even watching it and at the end of an episode it won’t go to the next episode. I have to manually say I have watched it.
I have an UNRAID PRO PLEX server. I use the proper plex server app. So everything was working fine and then this all started to go crazy. I have try turning of sync to all. I tried all the settings I could fine. And no fix.
I’m a plex pro user and this is getting to the point I’m over it and want to go to jellyfin or EMBY.
This issue happens a lot for me as well. I’ll often watch a few episodes, close the player and come back later to see it recommend I continue watching from the same place I started watching at last session.
Was trying to reproduce this but cannot. Sometimes the home screen of apps do not update their screens with new info but if still shows the same if you go into library or in other apps then DB is not being updated and i would say this is likely a server issue if it happens regardless of what player you use.
It is possible the DB is maybe corrupted and cannot update. Would probably need to see the server logs from right after you stop something in the middle or finish to see what is it doing
