I replaced the database file, and now the trash is emptying just fine. Thank you very much.
When I media scanned the album into Plex first I believe the album was in a file directory under “John C Riley”, but then I moved it into a directory “Dewey Cox”. This the same time I made the alterations described above. In the process I think I removed the album, and rescanned it in hoping to get Plex to pickup on the changes I’d made the to MP3 files in Windows 10’s Properties>Details menu.
Beyond that I don’t remember any specific changes I made to those files, and I believe every scan had a full chance to run.
