Plex won't use hardware transcoding (Ubuntu)

I am on Ubuntu 20.04 and using a Mini PC with an Intel Celeron N5105. I have a Plex Pass.

iGPU is set to “enabled” in my BIOS, hardware transcoding is enabled in Plex’s settings but Plex is refusing to use it. It only uses software transcoding which makes videos constantly buffer and pushes the CPU to 100%.

Does anyone know what to do about this? Is there a way to force Plex to utilise HW transcoding? When choosing “convert automatically” in my Android clients settings I see the “HW” next to the transcoding information for a second but then it disappears :frowning:
