Plex won't work after QNAP restarted

We lost power just for a minute last night and my QNAP restarted, came back on with no issues but Plex now says this:

NAS is currently unavailable
Verify you have a network connection and that the server is online, or see our tips for further assistance.

I’ve tried restarting the NAS again, deleting and reinstalling the Plex Media App in the App Center. QNAP support says the logs don’t show anything wrong so it must be on Plex’s end.

I am very very tech illiterate so have tried what I can by googling but haven’t had any luck. At this point I’m willing to just delete the whole server and start anew but I can’t even access my NAS files from Plex it seems

Please start with a copy of your server logs, I suspect you may have a corrupt database.

Please delete that zip, it does NOT contain the data I asked for and may contain info you do not want made public.

See the QNAP section of https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/

With QNAP NAS, if you uninstall Plex Media Server, it also deletes the Plex Data Folder, which holds the Plex database and other info (QNAP, not Plex, requirement).

Basically, it deletes your server (your media files are not deleted, just the Plex server).

When you re-install PMS, it will be like starting over. You’ll have to re-claim the server, re-add libraries, re-share if sharing with others, etc.

If you have re-installed Plex Media Server, point a private/incognito browser window at the IP address of the NAS. See if you can login, reach server settings, and claim the server.

For example, if the IP address is 10.1.2.3, use http://10.1.2.3:32400/web.

oh my god I just needed incognito mode… thank you so much!
