Plex Work environment and wireless HDMI

Good morning everyone. We are a small manufacturing company and we have some dumb tv’s setup throughout the shop to display employee news by updating a flash drive and putting those into the back of the TV. I would like to change that and setup a Plex server and stream the data from a server. Pretty Generic setup right?

Well I am wanting to set these up to play on televisions but I want to do it with a generic wireless HDMI transmitter rather than a smart device. Can this be done with the Plex software?

Plex isn’t a “push the data to the client on a loop” system. Plex is a client-server setup, where the client requests the media from the server. Someone has to use the Plex client to request the movie/tv show/music.

As long as you have a proper Plex client that has HDMI out, Plex doesn’t really care how you get the signal to the TV.
