Plex works and looks different on Android TV and Android Smartphone

I use Plex server installed on my home Windows 10 PC to stream my music to home network.
Plex version for Android, installed on Samsung smartphone works excellent!

I have purchased SONY Bravia A89 TV with the latest Android version (updated when connected to the Internet) with installed
Plex application. It works fine, but looks a little bit different.
Follows are missing features, that make use of application less convenient:

  1. There is no option to change a way, files are presented. The only (default) option is “Grid” and no “List”. But this a small problem

  2. The main problem is (when I start to play CD, divided into tracks), that I cannot see what track is playing as well, as playing progress.
    When play on smartphone, I see a poster and under it a track, that is playing now and playing progress.
    On SONY TV there is no such presentation!
    But, if I click on one of the color buttons on the remote control (every one of them with the same result), a window with track list, playing track and playing progress bar will open, but … it disappears after a couple of seconds.

Are this known problems?
Is there any way to fix them, at least a second one?
