Plex Your Changes Cannot Be Saved (UGreen NAS via Docker)

Server Version#: 1.43.1.10611

I have moved my Plex server onto my UGreen NAS through the official Plex Docker Container. I’ve got all my Metadata on there, but I’m trying to link the file locations for the media, and every time I try to edit to locate the files in their new location I’m getting a message that says “your changes cannot be saved.” Is there any way I can fix this so I can play my media on the NAS?

Bumping since I haven’t gotten a reply yet. I’ve been trying to figure out this problem and it’s frustrating me.

Could you share a screenshot of your Plex Docker container page?

Also please do the following;

  1. Confirm server DEBUG logging is enabled, VERBOSE logging is disabled.
    SAVE if changes.
  2. Restart PMS
  3. Give it two minutes to start and stabilize
  4. Reproduce the error message “your changes cannot be saved.”
  5. Download the server logs
  6. Attach the logs so I may see them.

Here is the screenshot of the container.

And here is the Zip of the Server Logs.

Lots of database disk image is malformed error messages. You’ll want to try to repair your DB. Please have a look through our support article for doing this. There is also a DB repair tool that one of our team members created that you should check out.

How would I be able to DL the Data Repair tool on since I have the server or the NAS?

SSH to the NAS. Use wget to download. See installation instructions on GitHub page for details, including how to use with Docker.

(Apologies for lack of details. Replying from phone.)

Is it possible someone from Plex could help me out this weekend with this via Zoom on how to go about working it? I’ve only had the NAS for a month and I’ve been trying to get the data to play and need a visual aid on how to go about this since YouTube has no tutorials on how to go about this in my situation. Also, I work at my job from 12-8 PM Eastern so I barely have anytime to devote to trying to fix it during the week.
