Hi There, i’m trying to upgrade my Win10 PC to Plexamp 1.1.0 for Tidal support, and I’m unable to install the downloaded file ‘Plexamp Setup 1.1.0.exe’. I receive error:
“Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.”
I’m on my personal computer and running the Admin account. Can anyone help?

Make sure the file is downloaded completely.
Don’t run it from a network share, but copy it onto a local hard disk.
Take a look into the log files if your anti virus software, maybe this one interferes with the installation.
Thank you, it was the Anti-Virus software on my machine.
I realized there was a feature of Trend Micro Security called ‘Folder Shield’ turned on, that was blocking files from executing in specified folders (my download folder was included). I turned that off for the Download Folder and immediately was able to install the App.
