omg, so basically that killed my whole workflow, is there a way how to downgrade back to 1.10? because when I tried via brew cask (mac os) it was downloading the 1.10 version, but after the installation I ended up with 3.0 :frowning:

I know, but once again, the crossfade is enabled. I know about server.json, but it seems that sometimes it doesn’t respect that setting :frowning: I’m sorry, but I have to look elsewhere for different solution (roon $$$$$)).

Might one ask why? My work flow is to browse via Plex app on my iPad and play on Plexamp on my Mac mini (headless). This gives me best sound quality and has replaced Sonos. You telling me plexamp 3 removes this functionality?

By my understanding, the app was rebuilt from the ground up using an entirely different codebase, so I don’t think the feature was removed so much as they simply didn’t have time to re-implement it before the official release. Correct. Casting/Companion features are in the works and are definitely in the near future.
