When playing Plexamp from my iPhone to my Alpine system via CarPlay the album covers appear blurry on the Alpine screen. I do not have this problem when I use the same iPhone/Plexamp app to play music on a Honda CRV factory installed system via CarPlay. The same album art appears fine when using the Plexamp app directly and when I run Plexamp on my Mac system. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?
Given that the only difference here appears to be the model of cars, unfortunately it doesn’t sound like it.
(Besides trading in your car for a CRV, which seems impractical.)
After further investigation, I’ve found the blurry album covers to be an intermittent issue with the Alpine. I typically use Plexamp concurrently with either Google Maps or Waze, so I’m trying to determine if there is a certain order of operations with the apps that causes the album covers to blur.
