Ive noticed that if i start the car whilst my phone is connected to WIFI, Android Auto loads but Plexamp stays offline. If i start Android Auto whilst connected to mobile data Plexamp has no problem and connects to my server. If i start on WIFI connection i can force Plexamp to go online by driving far enough from the WIFI connection that it uses mobile data then turning the car off then back on again.
Quite frustrating, this was not always the case, it seems to have only started doing this recently.
Interesting, this may have been a result of us changing the behavior to not display the offline screen if connectivity glitched 
This changed in the last release.
I would assume killing the app and restarting would also resolve once you’re on cellular? I don’t think you’d need to turn the car off/on.
Yes this is correct. I cannot restart app on android auto so I turn car off to achieve the same thing.

There was an update to Android Auto recently, this could have fixed it.
