Plexamp Android Mobile App Connecting to Mac OS Mojave Plexamp Application - Question

Hello wonderful Plexamp Devs.

Just a simple question / observation / curiosity about Plexamp.

My normal use case for Plexamp during the day is I use Plexamp on my phone and connect to a chormecast or nvidia shield to cast music to. My phone during the day is more like a controller.

At night I use headphones and listen through my phones app.

I noticed today that if I have Plex Web open on a web browser, Firefox in particular, I am able to connect/cast from my Plexamp Phone app to Plex Web on Firefox. I also noticed that I can not connect or cast to the Plexamp Mac OS Application.

Is this by design? I am just curious.

I am thrilled that I can cast to my Plex Web app. It is really convenient for the way I listen to music at home during the day. I was just curious why Plexamp Android App can’t cast/send to the Plexamp MacOS Mojave Computer App but it can send to the the Plex Web?

I hope that my curious question makes sense. :slight_smile:

I also played around with the media player app today. I noticed that I can cast to the Plex Media Player app.

So for my use its perfect that way. I have an older mac that is my music server and its connected to an older pair of speakers. My phone using Plexamp, I can connect to the Plex media player app and I can cast to it.

Autorun Plex Media Player app at startup and Im good to go with all the Plexamp goodness.
