Plexamp Android TV APK Interface

Hi folks. I have what I guess is a pretty unusual use case here. Running a touch screen monitor with an NVIDIA Shield. I have the latest Plexamp APK installed and was hoping it would appear just like the web interface for my headless Plexamp where I can browse my music library. Unfortunately it is just a blank screen telling me to use the companion app to cast to it.

Does anyone know if it is possible to view and browse my library via the Android APK app? A while back I managed to sideload the APK onto an Amazon Echo Show 15 which worked great until Amazon locked the device down and blocked any sideloading methods. Was hoping this would be working replacement but not much luck so far.

you could use a web browser except as i typed this i remembered that Android Tv doesn’t have one :person_facepalming:

Hi @elan thanks for the reply. Yes I have sideloaded a bunch on web browsers. I was tearing my hear out wondering why I kept getting error messages, then realized I was typing https, not http. All working now. Thanks again!
