Plexamp asio and resample support

Hello guys, I just got my plexpass and discovered plexamp casually. I have a complicated setup for my audio, involving a VST host with Dirac Live and Voicemeeter audio inserts to process all the audio system wide and resampling it to 96 Khz. Then everything goes to the DAC…

Right now I’m only able to use this setup with SqueezeLite and a Logitech Media Server. Everything works well, but damn, plexamp is so sleek!

I would like to ask if and when features like ASIO and resampling support will be implemented.

it’s possible we will add that support in the future, as the underlying library we use does support ASIO. in the nearer term we will try to do better source matching for sample rate.

Regarding the resampling do you plan to give the user the opportunity to select a fixed output sample rate? libsoxr it’s free to use and it’s probably the best resampler around (used by squeezelite too).

i suspect we would, yes. the resampler we use right now should be pretty high quality.
