I use Plex Amp mainly in the car via CarPlay. I noticed that the autoplay function unfortunately does not work. As soon as another app plays a message, the playback stops and unfortunately doesn’t continue after that.
Is there a solution for this?

So it’s pausing when switching to speaker (not sure why this is happening?) and then not unpausing when switching back 
Any idea why it’s switching to speaker (at least momentarily)?
Also curious what exactly “another app plays a message” means. Can you be specific about the app and the sound? Does it play on the phone?
It’s an app that warns of speeding cameras. And it’s right, it plays over the phone. Spotify or other audio apps continues automatically.
How does it do that (I didn’t know iOS apps could do that)? Are there other examples of apps I might be able to try which do the same thing?
No, unfortunately I don’t know of any other app. This is the only one I know.
I’m not trying to complicate the issue by mentioning another mobile OS, but it sounds like the behavior I noticed on my Android. If this doesn’t sound like what you’re experiencing, disregard. I have no Apple products to help test.
I play music, another alert happens (Nav alert, Radar Detector, etc) and Plexamp would pause and resume after the alert was finished. If the alert lasted too long, then Plexamp would pause and remain paused. On other music apps, the volume would dim, for lack of a better term. I asked the developer of my RadarDetector app what he used for sending his alert and he referred to “ducking” which might be only an Android thing. This behaivor was noticed on version 3.1.1 and was fixed on version 3.2.0.

I mention all of this because maybe Apple has something similar to ducking, and perhaps a Plexamp Person can chime in and let you know if this is something to look forward to on Carplay.
