Whenever I’m watching media in any app (non Plexamp), my media will randomly pause a few times an hour. It’s been bugging me for a while on my new Pixel 5. I was suspecting a bluetooth issue, so I recently started to try and get to my bluetooth menu quickly when the pause happens. To my surprise, I’m finding that every single pause event is accompanied by a background notification from Plexamp saying that Plexamp is running in the background. The notification goes away on it’s own in a few seconds, I hit play on my Youtube video, podcast, or whatever. And everything is normal until the next notification pops up.
Any ideas what might cause the consistent background activity? And, why would the background activity interrupt playback in another app? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
