Yes, I pressed play on the phone then tried to pause twice via bluetooth. I have a stock Samsung S9+.
Sure, I will be your guinea pig.

Thanks for the response! My specific issue was with a stock 2010 Lexus GS head unit. For some reason it just refuses to show metadata from Plex or Plexamp, but will pick it up from other sources.
At this point Iām not terribly worried about it. I ended up just picking up a device for my car that adds Android Auto stuff so it can stream directly from my server to the head unit. Plexamp works great there.
Same problem I have a 2017 Infiniti QX30 premium Bose system and with bluetooth connected . I turn off the engine and plexamp pauses, and when i start my car doesnāt resume. Other players have zero problems.
Iām also seeing another problem with song skipping. When I click to the next song it starts playing in the middle of the song or it start 5-10 into the next song. No other players do this.
I noticed Android in general has been spotty about AVCRP support the past year or so.
I noticed this on Android 10, it seems as if an application used the Android apis for AVCRP it would not appear. However if an app had itās built in implementation (it seemed as if GPM did this) that it would work.
When I updated to Android 11 all the apps that I had issues with on 10 started working again, and even better than prior (album art appears).
I suspect on Android 10, if was incorrectly selecting AVCRP 1.6 on devices that only supported up to 1.4. and on Android 11 it is resolved.
This is only speculation though, however I can tell you that Plexamp on 11 works on several steroes where it didnāt work on 10. (Pixel 4a, Essential PH-1).
