I am seeing exactly the same CPU issues on Windows 10 after updating to 3.1.0. I am also seeing CPU increases of ~5% after every music track. I’ll do some further testing but thought it would be useful to corroborate the report from @D34DC3N73R

I want to diito this too, noticed since upgrading to 3.1.0.
Happy to provide debugging information if anyone can point me in the right direction. I’m not using any visualizers, just album art. It’s a radio station I’m playing.

Thanks. For a moment I was really questioning whether this was unique to me. Had 0 responses here, asked on reddit, and had one guy respond that it was probably transcoding… For the record, this happens regardless of file type, both mp3 and flac cause the cpu to jump after each track.

CPU usage issue is fixed in next release.
