I’d like to see some of the new features that came with the Sonic Analysis update implemented in the web app or browser version of Plex. Mostly, the curated playlists from albums or individual songs. It would also be nice to get the discovery radio features, custom mixes and stations.
I don’t like the windows version of Plexamp, but feel forced to use it if I want to keep using the new features. Windows doesn’t seem to recognize Plexamp as a media player, so it doesn’t display the song info when changing the volume like most media players or even browser media. When playing games, keyboard media controls (Prev/Next/Play/Pause) stop working for me. All of these issues don’t happen in the web app or even other media players.
It’d also be nice to be able to use these features when on a public pc like at a library, school computer lab or a work computer where the user might not have permission to install Plexamp. A web app version of Plexamp would also be a possible solution.
