To answer your question, there’s no trick. It should stay connected even across killing the app. Most likely culprit is networking.

Ha! So not a Plexamp issue at all. I had know idea that my phone was disconnecting from WiFi so often… I’ll look elsewhere to fix this. Sorry to waste your time, but thank you for your help! Craig

Please provide Plexamp logs. Without these it’s close to impossible to debug anything.
