Using the Android Plexamp app, the casting selection is a bit too persistant.
If I cast to a google home mini at some point during the day then later on in the day pair my bluetooth earbuds to my phone to listen to some tunes through my phone I play music and… hear nothing. Plexamp maintains the casting connection from my earlier usage.
This may be desired functionality but - I believe - it should be changed. There have been several times where I have played “whole house” music during the day for my kids from my phone and then later go to listen to music on my earbuds (in the garage, working, etc) and I start playing music in the house while the kids are in bed because Plexamp holds on to that connection (I would at least think a direct bluetooth connection would override the casting).
There is a setting to turn this off:
Advanced->Remote Control->Reconnect to Players->Off
It is On by default.
