I have a suggestion, and a problem I can’t seem to figure out.
It is really hard to minimize PlexAmp. I like to run my music apps minimized because I do so much switching between other apps. But the minimize button for PlexAmp is hidden and difficult to find. I cannot recount the number of times I’ve accidentally maximized instead of minimized! And right clicking on the icon on the taskbar doesn’t have a minimize option either - as is annoyingly normal for Windows 10 icons, but that’s not a Plex issue. Could the minimize button be merged into the PlexAmp player or added to the right-click menu on the taskbar menu?
Onto my problem. I have iTunes playlists turned on at the server, and on the server I see only one copy of every playlist. But for some reason on Amp and on the Player I have duplicate copies of every playlist. And I mean every Player - Android (Samsung Galaxy 6, 7 and 9, and Samsung Tab A), iOS (iPad and iPhone 10), Roku, PlayStation, other Windows computers, Google Chromecast, Amazon Display - ALL of them.
I reiterate, the server only shows one playlist for each playlist, and there is only one playlist name in the iTunes folder. So, I have no idea where these duplicates are being pulled from, and why Amp and the Players are showing them, regardless of platform.
What I have tried so far
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes on the server computer more times than I can count. I have manually deleted all the Registry entries to make sure I was getting a clean install. After the last time I even created a new playlist - same thing. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the server several times. I didn’t go as deep removing it, but I did run CCleaner on the Registry a couple times before reinstalling.
Can someone help me figure out what is happening here?
