Am attempting to stream at work and able to connect to music library on home server but not able to connect to Plex Cloud or Cloud Sync. Here is my log
Dec 21, 2017 08:37:14.702 INFO - DEVICE: Finding best connection for Plex Cloud
Dec 21, 2017 08:37:14.702 INFO - HTTP: Issuing request to https://stuffremoved.ork.plex.services/
Dec 21, 2017 08:37:15.153 WARN - DEVICE: Server connection https://stuffremoved.plex.services didn't look like it hit the right server Plex Cloud
Dec 21, 2017 08:37:15.153 WARN - DEVICE: Connection testing failed for Plex Cloud
Dec 21, 2017 08:37:15.183 WARN - DEVICE: Server connection https://plex.tv didn't look like it hit the right server Cloud Sync
For me I see the library, can select the music. looks as if playing but no time advancement thru the song at all in the plexamp app on windows 10 remotely with zero sound at all. if I look at the server I see the song being played but I see zero progress in the now playing from the server. several times I have seen a similar colored screen like posted above from ewan2395. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the basics… No go… looking forward to a fix. the app looks like something I would want to use for sure
I’m having the same problem as Lonmo.
I have a Plex server with a music library running on my local network (Synology NAS).
I have updated Plex to the latest version, without luck.
I removed the pin from my Plex user account.
I’ve opened up Windows firewall to the plexamp executable… Nothing appears to work.
The logs report:
WARN - DEVICE: Server connection https://x.x.x.x:32400 didn’t work for DiskStation: timeout of 5000ms exceeded
WARN - DEVICE: Connection testing failed for DiskStation
WARN - DEVICE: Player connection https://x.x.x.x:32400 didn’t work for Plex Web (Firefox): timeout of 5000ms exceeded
WARN - DEVICE: Connection testing failed for Plex Web (Firefox)
DEBUG - DEVICE: Persisting devices because DiskStation was dirty
^ Hitting the above URL in firefox reports an SSL certificate issue. The same URL in Chrome does not have any problems.

When you’re local it’s probably just using that connection.
To anyone who’s running into this problem:
Does your log have a similar error to DEVICE: Server connection https://xxx didn't work for? What is it?
Do you have custom cert/DNS setup? What is it?
I’m sure there’s a common pattern here
Hi, I have this same problem on my fathers system. PlexAmp is on the same machine as the server, the server has a music library and it is signed in with an account. The Plex server does stream to other devices in the same network. Attached are my logs.
I do not believe he has custom certs or DNS set up, unless this is driven by the ISP equipment.
@aoe2exp ~ that looks like your dad’s computer has some sort of an HTTPS proxy setup. If he doesn’t know anything about it, I’d actually be suspicious of malware.

I use cloudflare/nginx to remotely access my plex-server. And I get the “no music server” error, both on my work computer and on my mac. Prior on my mac, before installing cloudflare/nginx I could access my library.

Does PlexAmp have an auto-update mechanism?
Yessir!
Also, any plans for PlexAmp mobile?
Nope; we plan to take learnings and features and potentially move some of those over to the mobile apps (iow: Make them better for music) rather than port the app.
I’m loving the look of it but am stuck with the ‘no music servers’ error.
Freenas based Plex server is signed in, has a music library with music in it.
Plexamp is signed in.
The server can see plexamp as a device, but still no joy.
I’m currently running Version 1.1.4.2757 on FreeBSD and am stuck until the plugin is updated.
Can anyone let me know if there is a minimum server version required and if this could be causing the issue?
For some reason the mpd.exe app isn’t able to start up. I might try running it manually from the program files and see if you get some sort of an error.
