Plexamp not syncing between devices

Server Version#: 1.43.0.10492-720010492
Player Version#: 4.12.4

When listening to a book, it will not sync the last listened to time from the server with the plexamp app unless I delete the app data on the phone.

I can start listening to an audiobook on my pixel 6. Change to my wifes pixel 8 in the car and it will not sync where the Pixel 6 left off unless we clear the Pixel 8 app data. I can see on the plex.tv site where I left off on my 6 because if I play in the browser it will pick up where I left off on it. We then listen on her 8, and I will need to clear my app data on my pixel 6 to pick up where we left off on the 8.

Is there a way to force a sync with the server without clearing the app data and having to relog into plexamp each time I switch a device?

If you have the same file paused on both devices (but at different time stamps), then the playback position of the two players will clash. There is no clear definition which one is “right”.

When leaving a player, try to actually Stop playback, instead of just pausing it.
You do this by a long press on the Pause button.

Wow, I didn’t know that, and I’ve needed that feature for a long time. I know you can do it on a PC with the X key. I discovered that by accident. Suggestion: Could you add a quick start guide to the app, perhaps in the “About” section, with keyboard shortcuts for both keyboard and touch input? That would be really helpful.
