Plexamp on Android 11.0 TV box does not show any type of player. Only welcome screen

When opening Plexamp on a Android 11.0 Android TV Box the screen opens with “Ready to Play: Use Plex Companion to cast some tunes to Android and Crank the volume!” Nothing else is ever shown.

No matter what buttons I press nothing happens. The screen just says the same thing if I log and relog into the device.

On my Android 9.0 TV box and Android 12.0 phone a full featured player is shown that I can play music from.

Settings only allows “about” to be clicked.

Nothing else is clickable.

That’s fully expected.
Plexamp cannot be operated with a remote control, which is what Android TV devices usually only have.
So far, Plexamp is simply not supported on such a device. All you can do with it is written on your screen.
