Sorry if I’ve missed it but is there any way of jumping forward or backwards in the same song without touching your phone in the car - i.e from the car screen within Car Play or Android Auto.e.g skip forward 30 secs…skip backwards 10 secs…?
To me this is the only feature its missing in the car…

I assume getting it into Carplay is about jumping through more hurdles with Apple?
This is great news! Is it also mapped to steering wheel controls? For example, if I press “right” on my steering wheel it will skip to the next track. If I hold down the button instead, will it skip within the song? Or is it only supported on the touchscreen?
You might need to tell us; probably depends how the car maps them.
How is it implemented in the next release on the screen? Is it a separate button, or do you “hold” the skip backwards/forward button on the screen?
It’s separate buttons on the screen of the Android Auto app. (Current release.)
Got it, looking forward to testing it out. Maybe if it doesen’t work, I can send you guys some logs when I’m holding down the buttons on my wheel and you can check it out.
