Plexamp Skip Forward / back in Carplay / Android Auto

Did this get integrated into later versions as mentioned (for Android Auto) on a previous post? It’s the only one feature I see missing - the option to skip forward (e.g 30 sec) and back (e.g 10 sec) using the car screen (not the phone itself).

It’s the one reason I still end up using other players in carplay / android auto…

yep, it did. you might need to enable Music Quick Skip if you want it for music tracks.

I see a skip back in Android but no skip forward. I see nothing in CarPlay….

In both cases I have enabled music skip in settings

Am I missing something?

A fatal flaw in Carplay / Android Auto as you’re not supposed to touch your mobile whilst driving and this is the only way to skip at present…

I need to reconsider whether I really need Plexamp / Plexpass…

What do you mean by “skip”?

If you mean jump +/-30 seconds, turn on Music Quick Skip option.

I mean exactly that Elan… I have turned on Music Skip Option and it appears no different…

I just double checked to make sure there isn’t a bug and with the Music skip option enabled I have jump forward/back actions in Android Auto:

They are in the overflow though (the 3 vertical dots), is that showing for you?
