Plexamp on Catalina appearance and ergonomics

Mac Mini (Late 2012) running Catalina 10.15.4, 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, 500GB SSD. iTunes on external HDD
iPhone XR 120GB

Generally loving the whole plexamp sound, simplicity and separation from video etc., Found plexamp after reviewing loads of other apps to try and rescue my music collection from Apple’s betrayal of iTunes users for the holy grail of paid for streamed content. Great relief as I was already a part of the Plex ecology.

Some missing features really confusing (and frankly, a bit perverse!). Any chance these will be added in future versions?

  1. Traffic lights in top left hand corner + ability to toggle between full screen/floating screen/mini window.
  2. Access to Albums, Artists, Tracks and Playlists available as a tab, drop down menu or something other than those three dots.
  3. Alphabetical selector list and decent width scroll bar - almost impossible to access my 2500 albums, 22,500 songs.
  4. The ability to delete unwanted playlists or items within the playlists. (As an aside I have got all my playlists from iTunes automatically transferred to plexamp RESULT!!! something I was never able to do with Plex itself, possibly because my itunes folder isn’t on the main hard drive. Downside however is that I have three of each of the playlists, in alphabetical order and not in any folders. Impossible to navigate/edit.

Thank you for listening but most importantly, thank you for the app. Looking forward to its development!!
Pete

Thanks for the feedback, we’re definitely thinking about at least some of these issues.

(4) is partially addressed in v3.1, you can delete tracks from playlists (and reorder!)
