The default Plex app triggers Windows’ Spatial Sound API when outputting surround encoded music, same as it does for Movies & TV content in surround. However, Plexamp does not trigger this API when playing back surround music. I would appreciate if the Plexamp behavior was on parity with the main Plex app (especially if music playback in Plex is being phased out), as Dolby Atmos for Headphones provides a good listening experience with surround music.
