I have a 5.1 system hooked up to my PC running Plex Amp. Music from Plex amp play in stereo only ignoring the Speaker fill setting in the audio driver. The same files played in the Window music app behaves as expected and mixes the music to all 5 speakers. Does Plex AMp some how bypass the windows driver setting?
Not consciously. We do mix down to 2.0 but play to the default system output, so not sure what’s going on.
Thanks Elan – it’s very weird. If I use the Win10 volume slider while plexamp is playing – the resulting tone gets sent to all 5 speakers while the music is just on two. Very strange.
