I can remove a song on a touch device but not in the Windows app. I can only move the order of it. Am I missing something obvious?
I don’t think you’re missing anything. I found posts from years ago on reddit asking the same question with no clear answer.
Seems like a feature that should be in Plexamp for Windows.
From what I remember, clicking (mouse-down) and dragging an item to the left should do that. I cannot currently verify, though.
It works as @tom80H described above.
After clicking, you need to make sure that you don’t move the mouse pointer vertically, but only to the left.
As I said, I can only move the track up or down, not sideways to the left or right.
I think we might be talking about a different part of the interface? By default the plexamp is a vertical rectangle which I expand into a wide horizontal window which then display the song and the “Up Next” list. If I hold the left mouse button on an upcoming tracking and try to move it to the right or left, it has no effect --but it does allow me to move it up or down in order.
This may require a precise mouse/mouse movement. I have tested it with the default view mode as you described. It works.
You need to move the track left (and only left).
Don’t wait after clicking on the track until its background is highlighted.
Click, and drag immediately to the left.
Btw. you can disable that default view mode, if you prefer your album art bigger.
Settings - Player - “Side by Side Layout”
The play queue is available in this mode like in the portrait window mode, under the player. Easily reachable with the mouse wheel.
Thanks, not waiting for the track to highlight before swiping does work!
