I use Plexamp on my Phone, Android headunit in my car, and on the PC using Plexamp and sometimes just the webapp.
I’d love the ability to change the song currently playing using other devices, eg. my watch to skip the track forward on my PC using plexamp.
Basically the same functionality spotify has.

The web app can only be used to control, but not be controlled.
If I’m a home cleaning, and I have my phone on me, but playing through plexamp on my computer, there is 0 interaction between the apps, doesn’t matter if it’s the webapp or not, every devices acts independently of each other. Even though I’m logged in on 1 account.
The feature I’m requesting is the ability to control plexamp with plexamp regardless of the device I’m on, similar to how Spotify does it.
Unless I’m misunderstanding you, this should already work. Plexamp can control other Plexamp instances, you just need to select the player you wish to control from the cast menu in Plexamp, e.g.
