Plexamp playing mono on my mobile phone

My Sony phone seems to play songs in Mono, Now this isn’t a huge problem, but wondered if anyone else has encountered it.

Plexamp plays same file OK on my tablet in stereo, also other devices in stereo.

I have tried many different tracks, plus all audio settings on my phone.

My phone plays stereo on other apps and music files, eg radio and YouTube.

Plexserver and my phone work OK on all other devices, I’m confused. :thinking:

Plexamp logs would be helpful, but we shouldn’t play mono,

As far as Plexamp is concerned, it’s playing a stereo file:

You can try OpenSL vs AAudio in Plexamp settings (might need to restart app to have it fully switch), but there’s no reason I can see as to why Plexamp is outputting mono via it being a system issue.

I tried plex through the Web browser on my Sony phone, again it played in stereo. Also I played plexamp with apple phone and again, all OK?

Can I download older APK of plexamp to try older version.

This all happened when I came across a track on tik tok. French girl had released a song with French on one side and English on the other side both at the same time. TikTok - Make Your Day
