PlexAmp, Plex for Android and Podcasts [BUG possibly]

PlexAmp Version: 3.5.0
Plex Beta for Android Version: 8.22.027166
Android Head Unit OS: Android 8.1
Android Head Unit Brand: AliExpress Tesla Style Head Unit (No Name Brand)

So I’m having issues with continuing (resuming podcasts) from one app to another with my Android Head Unit.

(Thanks to a member @cillin in another post) I recently discovered that I can use PlexAmp to listen to my Podcasts. Which would be fantastic for the exceptions listed below…

  1. When I’m listening to a podcast on my phone in the morning getting ready for my commute, I pause it and close the app (Plex Beta for Android) on my phone, but when I start it up on PlexAmp in my car on my Android Head Unit, when it finishes the current episode (a series I have subscribed to that it set up as oldest episode first) it does not continue to the next episode (that is not marked as played since it’s a 10 episode series starting fresh from the first episode). I have to try to select it from the podcast list, but this is not conducive to operating a motor vehicle. Especially since It doesn’t show the full list without drilling down into the menu of My Podcasts (it doesn’t show up “next episode” in My Episodes Menu).

  2. If I close out the PlexAmp and just try playing it from Plex Beta for Android on the Head Unit, I get “this folder is empty” error in the Recommended Tab for the On Deck section (could be “there seems to be nothing here” also, not really trying to crash to read it). But Plex Beta App starts to hang if I try going to My Podcasts Tab in Plex Beta App this is if I don’t change the Source in PlexAmp from Podcasts to Music before exiting PlexAmp first. (found this out by trial and error to figure this out.)

Does this happen to anyone else? Is this a bug?

I really LOVE the PlexAmp feature of the Megaphone option, because I drive with the windows open and it really helps to be able to amplify the voices in traffic!

Help? Will provide logs if needed.
