I already found a thread asking for playlist sorting & searching, which I think would greatly help to find and remove specific songs from playlist without having to scroll through and manually find the song in a playlist that could be thousands of songs. That feature, if implemented, could solve this problem.
But failing that, or just as an extra QOL feature, I think it would be nice to simply have a button inside the little 3 dots button that lets you directly remove the song from the playlist, provided you are listening to it within that playlist

In that case if the functionality to give the app such context can’t be added, then I would defer to having a search function inside playlists. I would imagine it theoretically can be added, as spotify recently added a “remove from this playlist” button, but I have no idea how much work that would be. Thanks for the response
