I would like to be able to remove songs from a playlist in the app as I am listening to them.
I see that there have been several posts asking for the same thing in the last 5 years, but it looks like it was never implemented because it was too difficult. I know that the Plexamp app has been recently worked on, and I am wondering if that can be implemented now?
Or, at least being able to delete them from the playlist in the play queue would be nice.
If that is too much, then the ability to sort the playlist by rating so that I could give songs that I want to remove a 2 star rating, and go back in later to remove them manually when I am not driving would be better.
We may offer that functionality in the future, but there’s currently no linkage between a song in the play queue and the playlist where it may have come from.
Doing that in the queue only seems to remove it from the queue, not the playlist.
I know that you can find the song in the playlist itself and swipe left to remove it, but doing that on a playlist with hundreds or thousands of songs is not easily done while driving.
Unfortunate, but understood. I assume there is a similar issue for the currently playing song as well.
Would it be possible to add a sort/filter functionality to the playlist view then? That would at least allow for the songs to be easily removed later based on star rating.
