Sometimes it takes like 8 seconds compared to the 1 second when music libraries are not included.
Is there an option to exclude music libraries from search on Plex but include them on PlexAmp?

Plexamp only looks in music libraries anyway, since it doesn’t play videos at all.
Some Plex client types have a setting where you can define which media source (i.e. server) shall be searched in general.
Some client types allow you to restrict the search by media type.
Unfortunately they sometimes will only allow you access to these restrictions when you click on “More results”.
All of the above only works if you don’t disable global search in the library properties.
